A UK registered charity using digital technology to encourage new audiences to enjoy and study great historic art from around the world, and to look at how its legacy continues to resonate in the works of many contemporary artists. We passionately believe that looking at this legacy helps to reflect on life today and imagine the world tomorrow, and that digital technology provides a unique vehicle for bringing it to younger and disadvantaged audiences. Athena’s website acts as a digital hub for exhibition listings and other resources, and our YouTube channel features dozens of podcasts and short films we have produced since 2021 in collaboration with institutions including the National Portrait Gallery, Fitzwilliam Museum, and Mental Health Innovations UK.
Brundyn Arts and Culture (BA&C)
Brundyn Arts and Culture (BA&C) believes art is a universal language that transcends geographical and cultural boundaries. As a South African consultancy with a global outlook, BA&C offers a range of specialised services that focus on inclusive artist and museum projects, exhibitions, educational programmes, and collection development. Founded by former Zeitz MOCAA director and Norval Foundation CEO, Elana Brundyn, who wanted to develop a platform that could undertake bold and innovative projects while offering deeper knowledge and access to artists and the art industry. Amid a rapidly evolving art world, wherein institutional models and accepted cultural narratives are being questioned, BA&C provides client-orientated services that combine Elana and her skilled and diverse teams’ professional experience and industry knowledge.
